2019 Conference Alignment: Eastern Conference

The division features 23 teams across three divisions

TAMPA, Fla. - In preparation for the 2019 USL League Two season, the league continued its conference alignment unveiling on Thursday with the Eastern Conference.

The Eastern Conference currently features three divisions -- the Northeast, Mid Atlantic and South Atlantic Divisons -- and is comprised of 23 clubs from across the region.

Newly-added Manhattan SC is the latest addition to the Northeast Division, rounding out the eight-team group for 2019. The division also features returning clubs AC Connecticut, Black Rock FC, Boston Bolts, GPS Portland Phoenix, Seacoast United Phantoms, Westchester Flames and Western Mass Pioneers.

The Mid Atlantic Division will feature a new team in 2019 as well with New Jersey-based Cedar Stars Rush joining League Two. Cedar Stars will join Evergreen FC, FA Euro, Lehigh Valley United, Long Island Rough Riders, New York Red Bulls U23, Ocean City Nor'easters and Reading United AC.

Meanwhile, the seven-team South Atlantic Division sees returning Carolina Dynamo, Lionsbridge FC, North Carolina FC U23, Tobacco Road FC and Tri-Cities Otters joined by two new clubs. Wake FC and Virginia Beach United will make their League Two debuts this season.
