Indiana defender beats out Denver's Shinyashiki, Kentucky's Williams

TAMPA, Fla. - Former USL League Two and Indiana University defender Andrew Gutman has been named the 2018 MAC Hermann Trophy winner, which is handed out each year to the nation's top men's and women's college soccer players.

All three men's finalists previously resided with USL League Two teams, with Andre Shinyashiki and JJ Williams rounding out the field.
