USL League Two has seen many talented players further their careers at the professional level over the course of the league's existence, and 2018 was no different. The 2018 MLS SuperDraft saw 66 players selected by Major League Soccer clubs, including 18 in the first round.
A number of League Two players contributed greatly in their debut MLS campaigns in 2018, particularly Orlando City's Chris Mueller and Seattle Sounders midfielder Alex Roldan. Both players finished in the top five of the league's Rookie of the Year voting.
Meanwhile, New York Red Bulls striker Brian White scored his first MLS goal during the 2018 campaign, while also bagging 10 goals while on loan with USL Championship side New York Red Bulls II.
