USMNT, Rennicks Reach FIFA U20 World Cup

The U.S. remains undefeated through six matches at IMG Academy

TAMPA, Fla. - The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team qualified for the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup on Friday night following their 4-0 victory against Costa Rica during the knockout phase.

The Americans have won all six matches played at the 2018 CONCACAF U20 Championship, scoring 43 goals and only conceding two during that span.

Former USL League Two forward Justin Rennicks has scored four goals at this month's competition, and remains with the squad despite Indiana University's current run at the NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.

Indiana teammate and fellow League Two alum Griffin Dorsey spent the first five matches of the tournament with the U.S..

The U.S. will close out Group G play on Monday against Honduras, with the winner facing either Mexico or Panama in the final on Wednesday.
