TAMPA, Fla. - As the 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs begin, 105 former Premier Development League (soon to be USL League Two) players are representing MLS teams in the build up to MLS Cup.

The Seattle Sounders boast the most PDL alums with 13 entering the postseason. Cristian Roldan, Stefan Frei and Lamar Neagle are among the Sounders players to have previously suited up in PDL, with Frei a current candidate to win MLS Goalkeeper of the Year.

Meanwhile, Columbus Crew SC and Real Salt Lake are next in line, boasting 12 former PDL players apiece. Crew striker Gyasi Zardes and RSL's Corey Baird have each boasted strong seasons at their respective clubs, totaling 19 and eight goals, respectively.

In 2018, all 12 teams that qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs have at least one PDL representative on their squad. That includes expansion side Los Angeles FC, which features 2018 first-round MLS SuperDraft selection Tristan Blackmon.
