TAMPA, Fla. - Two former Premier Development League (soon to be USL League Two) players have been selected to the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team ahead of next month's CONCACAF U20 Championship in Bradenton, Florida.
Indiana Hoosiers duo Griffin Dorsey and Justin Rennicks have each earned call ups by head coach Tab Ramos for the tournament, which runs from Nov. 1-20.
Dorsey, who previously played in PDL with Colorado Rapids U23 this past summer, has netted four goals and added three assists this season for the Hoosiers.
Meanwhile, Rennicks -- who played for FC Boston in PDL -- is second on Indiana in goals with five.
Dorsey and Rennicks are two of the four players called up by Ramos currently playing at the collegiate level.
The U.S. U20s begin group stage play against Puerto Rico on Nov. 1, while also competing against the U.S. Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Suriname.
The entire tournament will be held at IMG Academy, with the four top-finishing nations earning places at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.
