The Premier Development League has helped guide many players, both past and present, towards great futures at some of the highest levels in American soccer.

Over the years, 70 players with PDL experience have suited up for the U.S. Men's National Team, including recent call-ups in DeAndre Yedlin, Brad Guzan and Josh Sargent. In total, those players have accounted for 100 goals with the USMNT, while 22 former PDLers have found the back of the net at least once while suiting up for the Stars and Stripes.

Aaron Long and Ben Sweat join Yedlin, Guzan and Sargent in the USMNT squad, as the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC defenders, respectively, aim to earn their first caps on Thursday night.

Chicago FC United (formerly Chicago Fire Premier, Chicago Fire Reserves and Chicago Fire U23) and Orange County Blue Star have seen the most players represent the national team setup, boasting eight and seven players, respectively.

Five PDL players have been named to the latest U.S. Men's National Team roster, which is set to kick off against Colombia at 7:30 p.m. ET in Tampa, Florida (Fox Sports 1, Univision, UDN). The team will then face off against Peru in East Hartford, Connecticut, at 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN2, UniMas, UDN) on Tuesday.
