Marquette vs. Georgetown among matchups to watch this weekend

Numerous PDL Top College Prospects will look to build on their impressive midweek performances heading into this weekend's jam-packed slate of action.

TWO GAMES TO WATCH

MARQUETTE (3-6-0, BIG EAST) VS. GEORGETOWN (5-3-1, BIG EAST)

Saturday, Sept. 29 - 7:05 p.m. CT - Watch Live

Luka PrpaLuis Barraza and Marquette host Ifunanyachi Achara and Georgetown in one of the must-see Big East game over the weekend.

Prpa, named 2018 PDL Young Player of the Year after a strong season with Chicago FC United, has been the creative engine for Marquette this campaign. Thus far, he has scored one goal and provided three assists. Barraza did not start for Marquette in the midweek loss to Wisconsin, but he has been solid in his six starts for the program this campaign. The netminder has recorded 28 saves and a 0.99 goals-against average to date.

Achara, meanwhile, has been one of the Hoyas' best attackers in 2018, scoring four goals and providing one assist in nine games.

INDIANA (8-1-0, BIG TEN) VS. PENN STATE (2-5-1, BIG TEN)

Sunday, Sept. 30 - 1 p.m. ET - Watch Live

After scoring the game-winning goal against Northwestern on Wednesday, Griffin Dorsey and Indiana will host Aaron Molloy and Penn State in one of the best matchups across the country on Sunday.

Dorsey hasn't slowed down since leaving the Colorado Rapids U23 and joining the Hoosiers for the fall, scoring four goals and recording two assists in eight games. With an 8-1-0 record, Indiana currently sits No. 2 in the latest edition of the United Soccer Coaches rankings.

Penn State will be looking for the upset and will rely upon the services of Molloy, who has recorded one goal and one assist after an incredible season with Reading United AC during the summer.
