With a good mixture of NCAA DI and DII action on display, Thursday proved successful for the PDL Top College Prospects in action.

In Marquette's big win, both Luka Prpa and Josh Coan found the score-sheet with assists to open their accounts this fall. Brandon Guhl matched both of them with two goals for Butler in a big top 25 win over Western Michigan, despite entering the match as a substitute. Andre Shinyashiki also found the back of the net for the overtime game-winner for Denver in the team's win over Washington.

In NCAA DII, Gabriel Torres started off where he finished last season, scoring once for the University of D.C. in their season-opening win. Juan Tejada did the same for Eckerd in the Florida-based university's big win over Ave Maria.
