Reflex save to stop header wins Rice fan vote

An instinctive reflex save on a close-range header has earned Lionsbridge FC goalkeeper Joseph Rice the nod as PDL Save of the Week in Week 10.

Rice's leaping effort to push the header over the bar earned 41 percent of the 1,528 total votes cast.

Coming in a very close second was Des Moines Menace goalkeeper Carlos Mercado, with 39 percent. Also receiving votes were the Lakeland Tropics' Gustavo Vasconcelos, with 15 percent, Mississippi Brilla FC's Brendan Ledgeway, with four percent, and San Francisco Glens SC's Andrew Konstantino, with two percent.
