2018 PDL Preview: Deep South Division

Newcomers Hammers, Memphis City FC help open new division in 2018

Bringing the Southern Conference to three divisions in 2018, the Deep South Division will launch with a mixture of teams from the Mid South and South Atlantic Divisions, alongside PDL newcomers Memphis City FC and the Birmingham Hammers.

Joining the new division for the upcoming campaign are former Mid South powerhouse Mississippi Brilla FC. Brilla finished the highest of any of the teams in the Deep South last season, posting a 9-2-3 record and second-place finish in the Mid South division while winning the Southern Conference.

Entering from the South Atlantic Division are the teams that finished fourth and fifth respectively last year, South Georgia Tormenta FC and the SC United Bantams. Both clubs will look to improve their marks against teams from across the South.

Also entering from the South Atlantic are Peachtree City MOBA and Tri-Cities Otters
