Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer Leagues, LLC, announced today it had entered a multi-year partnership with Pabian Law, establishing the award-winning legal firm as the Official Immigration Law Supplier for all related properties, including the Premier Development League – the top U23 men's league in North America – the United Soccer League, USL’s Division III and the Super Y League. The partnership adds to the growing list of organizations that are part of the league’s Preferred Supplier Program.

“We are thrilled to have Pabian Law as our Official Immigration Law Supplier,” said USL President Jake Edwards. “Immigration Law is a highly important subject for our clubs to secure international players and coaches, many of whom have helped the league reach its current high level on the field. We are ecstatic to partner with the finest in the industry to ensure that our clubs and players are in good hands, allowing them to focus on performing at the highest level.”

“The USL and its teams have meant so much to our firm for so many years,” said Keith Pabian, Founding Partner of Pabian Law. “The USL is at the heart of our sports practice. In fact, much of our strategy in how we have built out our sports practice has been aimed at how to best service the USL and its teams. We look forward to a long future of continuing to work with our great friends at the USL and its teams across North America.”

A part of the United Soccer Leagues, which also operates the Division II USL, the newly-announced USL Division III and Super Y League, the PDL has served as the proven stepping-stone for aspiring professionals.

Nearly 70 percent of all MLS SuperDraft selections since 2010 have PDL experience, including a total of 59 alums chosen in 2017. Among the many players to have played in the PDL before making their professional debuts include Newcastle United FC defender DeAndre Yedlin, 2017 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Tim Melia, 2017 MLS Defender of the Year Ike Opara and U.S. Men’s National Team members such as Darlington Nagbe, Brad Guzan, Geoff Cameron and Tim Ream.
