TAMPA, Fla. – The 2017 Premier Development League All-League Awards, including the All-League Team, was announced on Friday, with New York Red Bulls U23 forward Brian White being voted the 2017 PDL Most Valuable Player.

Seven players named to the fifth edition of the 2017 PDL Top Prospects list headline the individuals selected to the All-League Team. Among the selections is Thunder Bay Chill captain and 2017 PDL Defender of the Year Mitchell Osmond, who will take part in the 2017 PDL Championship against the Charlotte Eagles at 3 p.m. ET from the Sportsplex at Matthews in Matthews, North Carolina, on Saturday (ESPN3/USLPDL.com).

The MVP, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, and All-League Team were selected by members from PDL teams from across North America. The Golden Boot was awarded to the individual with the most goals during the regular season, while the Creative Player of the Year was awarded to the player with the most assists. The PDL Young Player of the Year was awarded to the individual receiving the most MVP nominations under the age of 21.

2017 PDL MVP/Golden Boot – Brian White, New York Red Bulls U23
The Duke University talent, ranked first on the fifth edition of the 2017 PDL Top Prospects list, scored a PDL-high 17 goals and recorded three assists in 14 games (1,106 minutes) during the regular season, helping the Red Bulls U23 earn the Mid Atlantic Division title and PDL Regular Season title.

2017 PDL Coach of the Year – Robert Elliott, New York Red Bulls U23
Elliott led the Red Bulls U23 to a 12-1-1 overall record, as the team scored a league-high 51 goals in 14 games. Conceding just 14 goals on the year, the Red Bulls U23 cruised to the Mid Atlantic Division title and PDL Regular Season title.

2017 PDL Defender of the Year – Mitchell Osmond, Thunder Bay Chill
The Chill captain helped the team record seven shutouts in 13 games (1,100 minutes), as they won their first Heartland Division title since 2013. The talented defender also scored one goal and provided one assist during the season.

2017 PDL Goalkeeper of the Year – Benjamin Lundgaard, New York Red Bulls U23
The Virginia Tech standout was an integral part of the Red Bulls U23’s run to the PDL Regular Season title, making 38 saves in 13 games (1,064 minutes). He also recorded a 0.85 goals-against average. The goalkeeper is also ranked seventh overall on the fifth edition of the 2017 PDL Top Prospects list.

2017 PDL Creative Player of the Year – Harry Pearse, Jersey Express
Pearse provided a league-high 10 assists for the Express during the 2017 campaign. The midfielder also scored three goals in 14 games (1,053 minutes).

2017 PDL Young Player of the Year – Aaron Molloy
Molloy, who will play collegiately for Penn State University this fall, scored seven goals and recorded one assist in 11 games (921 minutes) for Reading United AC.

GK – Ben Lundgaard, New York Red Bulls U23: Lundgaard helped the Red Bulls U23 secure the Mid Atlantic Division title and PDL Regular Season title by recording 38 saves and a 0.85 goals-against average in 13 games.
D – Mitchell Osmond, Thunder Bay Chill: Osmond helped the Canadian club clinch their first Heartland Division title since 2013. He scored one goal and provided one assist, while also helping the Chill secure seven shutouts in 13 games.
D – Nick Walker, Michigan Bucks: The Bucks defender turned heads for the three-time PDL champions during the 2017 regular season, helping the team clinch the 2017 Great Lakes Division title. He was a key part in securing nine shutouts while playing a total of 14 matches (1,197) during the year.
D – Sergi Nus, Fresno Fuego: Nus, who plays collegiately for the University of Virginia, helped the Fuego record five shutouts and also provided two assists in 13 games (1,071 minutes) during the 2017 campaign. Ranked 13th on the fifth edition of the PDL Top Prospects list, Nus helped the team secure five shutouts en route to a berth in the PDL Playoffs.
D – Scott DeVoss, Colorado Rapids U23: After a standout 2016 at the University of Denver, DeVoss continued to add to his resume, impressing many teams in 11 games (900 minutes) during the Rapids U23’s regular season.
M – Moshe Perez, FC Tucson: Perez, who plays for Colorado Mesa University, scored a Mountain Division-high 12 goals and also recorded one assist in 12 games (718 minutes) for Tucson. Ranked 22nd on the fifth edition of the PDL Top Prospects list, Perez was the driving force for the club, which secured its fourth consecutive PDL division title in 2017.
M – Ricardo Gomez, Myrtle Beach Mutiny: The University of South Florida captain was solid on both ends of the field for the Mutiny – who won the 2017 South Atlantic Division title in their inaugural PDL campaign. Gomez scored two goal and recorded three assists in 14 games (1,140 minutes).
M – Aaron Molloy, Reading United AC: Molloy shined for Reading United AC during the 2017 campaign. The midfielder recorded seven goals and one assist in 11 games (921 minutes), helping them finish second in the Mid Atlantic Division.
F – Tobenna Uzo, Myrtle Beach Mutiny: Uzo, who played collegiately for Coastal Carolina University before being drafted by Orlando City SC in 2015, recorded 13 goals and three assists to help the Mutiny secure the South Atlantic Division title in their inaugural PDL season. The 23-year-old talent played in all 14 regular-season games (1,032 minutes) during the year.
F – Brian White, New York Red Bulls U23: White tallied a league-high 17 goals in 14 games during the campaign to help the Red Bulls U23 clinch the Mid Atlantic Division title and PDL Regular Season title. He also provided three assists.
F – Mark Verso, FC Golden State Force: Verso, who was been named to the PDL All-Western Conference Team two consecutive years, netted a Western Conference-high 13 goals in 13 games (1,075 minutes) during the 2017 campaign. The forward also recorded five assists to help the Force clinch their first Southwest Division title.
