TAMPA, Fla. – A total of seven teams – the Michigan Bucks, Dayton Dutch Lions, K-W United FC, Thunder Bay Chill, Des Moines Menace, Chicago FC United and Saint Louis FC U23 – are represented in the 2017 Premier Development League All-Central Conference Team.

Bucks standouts Francis Atuahene and Nick Walker, as well as Saint Louis U23 forward Samuel Gainford and Dayton Dutch Lions goalkeeper Michael Yantz, are among the selections – who were voted on by members from the Central Conference.

GK – Michael Yantz, Dayton Dutch Lions: The Fort Hays State University talent stood out in the Great Lakes Division during the 2017 campaign, recording a Central Conference-high 82 saves – second-most across the PDL – in 13 games (1,131 minutes).
D – Mitchell Osmond, Thunder Bay Chill: The Chill captain led the club to a 2017 Heartland Division title, the Chill’s first since 2013. While helping the club secure seven shutouts, Osmond also recorded one goal and one assist in 13 games (1,100 minutes).
D – Nick Walker, Michigan Bucks: Walker shined on the Bucks’ back line during the 2017 season, playing in all 14 matches (1,197) for the club. He helped the team record nine shutouts en route to the 2017 Great Lakes Division title.
D – Lucas Stauffer, Des Moines Menace: The Creighton University standout caught the eyes of many in the Heartland Division, as the Menace earned a PDL Playoffs berth. Stauffer helped the club record four shutouts in 11 games (791 minutes).
D – Brandon Fricke, Des Moines Menace: Fricke helped guide the Menace to a berth in the 2017 PDL Playoffs, playing 10 games (790 minutes) while recording four shutouts.
M – Abraham Villon, Thunder Bay Chill: Villon led the Chill in total points during the 2017 regular season, scoring four goals while recording a team-high four assists in 13 games (899 minutes).
M – Amass Amankona, Dayton Dutch Lions: Amankona, ranked 18th on the fifth edition of the PDL Prospects list, bossed the midfield for Dayton during the 2017 regular season. He played in 10 games (894 minutes) for the club.
M – Chris Mueller, Chicago FC United: The University of Wisconsin–Madison talent, ranked 16th on the fifth edition of the 2017 PDL Top Prospects list, scored four goals and provided three assists in nine games (741 minutes) during the 2017 campaign.
F – Ryan Sierakowski, Chicago FC United: The Michigan State University standout, ranked 35th on the fifth edition of the PDL Top Prospects list, scored a team-high six goals and recorded two assists in 11 games (871 minutes) during the campaign.
F – Samuel Gainford, Saint Louis FC U23: The University of Akron talent scored four goals and recorded three assists in nine games (652 minutes) for the Saint Louis U23 in 2017.
F – Francis Atuahene, Michigan Bucks: The Michigan University standout, ranked fourth on the fifth edition of the PDL Top Prospects list, turned heads in the Central Conference during the regular season. In six games (338 minutes), Atuahene scored three goals.
