TAMPA, Fla. – Michigan Bucks talent Francis Atuahene remains first overall in the fourth edition of the 2017 Premier Development League Top Prospects list, while fresh faces in Myrtle Beach Mutiny forward Tobenna Uzo and K-W United FC midfielder Ken Krolicki jump into the top 20.

The University of Michigan’s Atuahene has scored three goals in five appearances for the Bucks this season, helping them inch closer to a fourth consecutive Great Lakes Division title. Two New York Red Bulls U23 standouts rank behind the Bucks phenom, as Virginia Tech goalkeeper Ben Lundgaard and Duke University forward Brian White are second and third, respectively. White currently leads the PDL in goals scored with 13.

Uzo, who was a standout at Coastal Carolina University before being selected by Orlando City SC in the 2016 Major League Soccer SuperDraft, has shined in the South Atlantic Division. Named Week 9’s PDL Player of the Week, Uzo has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 12 appearances this campaign.

Krolicki, who is a rising senior at Michigan State University, has turned heads in the Great Lakes Division for K-W United. The dynamic midfielder has scored four goals and provided one assist for the Canadian club to date, putting K-W United on the brink of clinching a PDL Playoffs spot.

The PDL Top Prospects list has helped identify and highlight high-level Under-23 players since its debut in 2015. Philadelphia Union talents Keegan Rosenberry and Adam Najem, as well as New York Red Bulls midfielder Arun Basuljevic and Real Salt Lake midfielder Jose Hernandez, are among the many notable talents to be featured on the PDL Top Prospects list before making their professional debuts in MLS or the USL.

The USL Scouting Network consists of 24 scouts – including head coaches, technical directors and coaching directors – across North America.
