The Michigan Bucks, winners of the 2016 PDL Championship, remain No. 1 overall in the Central Conference Power Rankings after securing two wins during Week 9 of the Premier Development League regular season.

Great Lakes Division title contender K-W United FC, as well as the Thunder Bay ChillSt. Louis Lions and Des Moines Menace, join the Bucks in this week's edition of the power rankings.

Central Conference Top 5:

1. Michigan Bucks

Previous: No. 1
Week 9 Results: W 2-0 vs. Dayton Dutch Lions, W 1-0 at K-W United FC
2017 PDL Record: 7-1-2
Week 10 Matches: vs. K-W United (7:30 p.m. ET, July 5), vs. Cincinnati Dutch Lions (7:30 p.m. ET, July 8)
Overview: The Michigan Bucks recorded two key wins during Week 9, including a road victory against current Great Lakes Division leader K-W United FC. James Haupt scored the decider in the win against K-W United, while Jacob Bevan shined in the win against Cincinnati with a goal and an assist.


2. K-W United FC

Previous: No. 3
Week 9 Results: W 4-0 vs. West Virginia Chaos, L 0-1 vs. Michigan Bucks
2017 PDL Record: 8-3-1
Week 10 Matches: at Michigan Bucks (7:30 p.m. ET, July 5)
Overview: K-W United FC still remains atop the Great Lakes Division, but the club fell to the Bucks for a second time this season during Week 9. The Canadian club earned an impressive midweek win against the West Virginia Chaos, as Ken Krolicki, ranked 23rd on the third edition of the 2017 PDL Top Prospects list, scored two goals. With two games remaining on its schedule, K-W United is on the brink of clinching a berth to the 2017 PDL Playoffs.


3. Thunder Bay Chill

Previous: No. 5
Week 9 Results: W 1-0 at St. Louis Lions, W 2-0 at St. Louis Lions
2017 PDL Record: 7-2-2
Week 10 Matches: vs. Saint Louis FC U23 (7:30 p.m. ET, July 7), vs. Chicago FC United (1 p.m. ET July 9)
Overview: The Thunder Bay Chill earned back-to-back road wins against Heartland Division contenders St. Louis Lions during Week 9. With the wins, the Chill have the inside track to finish at the top of the division, as they play their final three regular-season matches at home.


4. St. Louis Lions

Previous: No. 2
Week 9 Results: L 0-1 vs. Thunder Bay Chill, L 0-2 vs. Thunder Bay Chill
2017 PDL Record: 6-4-1
Week 10 Matches: at Des Moines Menace (7:30 p.m. CT, July 8)
Overview: The Lions remain in second place in the Heartland Division following two defeats to the Chill during Week 9. The Des Moines Menace sit just two points behind the Lions and will play them in Week 10.


5. Des Moines Menace

Previous: No. 4
Week 9 Results: L 1-2 vs. Saint Louis FC U23
2017 PDL Record: 5-4-2
Week 10 Matches: vs. St. Louis Lions (7:30 p.m. CT, July 8)
Overview: The Menace suffered their fourth defeat of the year during Week 9, but the reigning Heartland Division champions still remain in the hunt for a 2017 PDL Playoffs berth. The club will play the Lions, who sit just two points above them, on Saturday.
