A second-half goal from Danny Musovski, ranked 43rd on the second edition of the Premier Development League Top Prospects list, and heroics from goalkeeper Lucas Vallilo helped FC Tucson take down San Diego Zest FC in the PDL Game of the Week on Saturday.

Musovski converted from the penalty spot in the 64th minute, as Tucson earned a 1-0 win and improved to 5-2-1 this season. Zest FC, meanwhile, fell to 3-5-1.

In the Mid Atlantic Division, Reading United AC scored two late goals to defeat the New York Red Bulls U23, who led the game 1-0 at Don Thomas Stadium following a brilliant backheel goal from Brian White in the 69th minute. Marco Micaletto netted the game-tying goal in the 83rd minute, while Aaron Molloy hit a curler from distance to secure the 2-1 victory.

The Des Moines Menace and Thunder Bay Chill faced off in a Heartland Division rivalry on Saturday, and the Menace came out on top to improve their overall record against the Chill to 30-25-5. Tucker Stephenson scored the game-winning goal in the 56th minute of play after receiving a pass from Hayden Partain.

Elsewhere, the OKC Energy U23 recorded road wins against Houston FC and Brazos Valley Cavalry F.C. and are now the only perfect team left in the PDL. The Energy U23 outscored their Week 7 opponents 10-2, with Julio Moncada scoring three goals and providing one assist.
