The Southeast Division side improves to 4-0-0 on the season following victories over Palm Beach Suns FC and IMG Academy Bradenton. SIMA is joined in the top five by FC Miami City, OKC Energy U23, Mississippi Brilla FC and the Tampa Bay Rowdies U23.

Overview: The SIMA Aguilas, led by Head Coach Mike Potempa, are one of only three perfect teams remaining in the Southern Conference after securing two more wins during Week 4. Diego Campos scored two goals and recorded three assists for the Aguilas in their two victories, while Malick Mbaye added two goals as well. Biska Biyombo, who is ranked 17th on the first edition of the 2017 PDL Top Prospects list, scored one goal in the team's 2-0 win against Palm Beach Suns FC.

Creighton University talent Sven Koenig, who was named 2016 PDL Young Player of the Year, scored a goal against FC Cleburne, while Julio Moncada provided an assist in the team's win over Texas United before being named to the PDL Top Prospects list on Friday.

Overview: Mississippi Brilla FC recorded two wins against Week 3 Honorable Mention Brazos Valley Cavalry F.C. to move up in this week's edition of the Southern Conference Power Rankings. In the first match on Thursday, Thomas Vancaeyezeele scored the winner. Troye Kiernan, Enzo Giuliani and Carlos Garces scored the goals for the Mid South Division side in the second win. Brilla FC now has two shutouts on the season and has scored a total of six goals through three matches.

Overview: FC Miami City had Week 4 off, but the club's strong start to the season includes wins against Honorable Mentions Lakeland Tropics and South Florida Surf. The team's only loss on the season was a 2-1 defeat to the No. 1-ranked SIMA Aguilas. Joel Ouedraogo currently leads the team in goals scored with three, while Mouhoub Merabet and Naim Hamdi each have two on the season. On Firday, Kevin Coiffic was ranked 37th on the first edition of the Top Prospects list.
