Texas United has unveiled its logo ahead of the club's inaugural Premier Development League campaign.
The expansion franchise is owned and operated by Neltex Sports Group, a group comprised of distinguished sport executives, entrepreneurs and successful business owners based in Texas. The group also owns and operates FC Cleburne, which revealed its logo on Tuesday.
"With the release of the logos for Texas United and FC Cleburne, the excitement really kicks in," Neltex Sports Group President Robbie Fenyes said. "The logos are a great representation of the tradition in soccer and a new brand for each community.”
Texas United will compete in the Mid South Division against Mississippi Brilla FC, the OKC Energy U23, Brazos Valley Cavalry F.C., Houston FC and FC Cleburne in 2017. The team will play its home matches at AirHogs Stadium – which has a capacity of 5,445. Texas United's first home game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on May 5.
