Premier Development League alums and 2017 Major League Soccer draft picks Connor Maloney and Logan Ketterer each signed contracts with Columbus Crew SC on Monday.

"We’d like to congratulate Logan and Connor on signing with Crew SC after working hard this preseason and integrating with the club,” Crew SC Sporting Director and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter said in a release. “We look forward to seeing their development during their first year in MLS."

Maloney, who scored 26 goals and provided 17 assists in four seasons at Penn State University, was a part of Reading United AC in 2014. Ketterer played for the Ocean City Nor'easters during the 2016 PDL regular season, making 10 saves in two appearances.

The two Crew SC additions were among the 59 PDL alums selected in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft in January – approximately 73 percent of the entire draft class. Marcus Epps, Daniel Johnson and Stefan Cleveland are among the PDL alums drafted to have signed an MLS contract ahead of the 2017 regular season.
