Eastern, Western Conference Play-In Games Kick Off Tuesday

Fuego vs. Dragons FC, Reading United vs. Pioneers headline the six playoff matches

TAMPA, Fla. – The 2016 PDL Playoffs kick off on Tuesday, as six play-in games will determine the remaining seeds in the Eastern and Western Conference Championships.

The Charlotte Eagles and FC Tucson have claimed the top seeds in the Eastern and Western Conferences, respectively, and have earned a bye past the play-in round.

The four teams competing in the Southern and Central Conference Championships have already been determined. The OKC Energy U23, The Villages SC, the South Florida Surf and Midland/Odessa Sockers FC will play in the Southern Conference Championship, while the Michigan Bucks, the Des Moines Menace, the Thunder Bay Chill and K-W United FC will play in the Central Conference Championship.

The semifinals and final for all four Conference Championships will take place on the weekend of July 22-24. Times and locations for the Central, Southern, Eastern and Western Conference Championships will be announced in the coming days.
