The Charlotte Eagles take the top slot in the Eastern Conference Power Rankings for the first time this regular season following a road win against Peachtree City MOBA.

Reading United AC suffered its second loss of the season to Lehigh Valley United Sonic on Wednesday, but bounced back in an important derby match against the Ocean City Nor’easters on Saturday.

Here’s the Eastern Conference’s Top 6:

1. Charlotte Eagles (Previous: 2)
Last Week: W 1-0 at Peachtree City MOBA
The Eagles sit atop the South Atlantic Division standings with an 8-2-1 record – six points above the Carolina Dynamo in second. Marco Micaletto scored his fourth goal – a team-high – of the regular season in the first half of their road win at Starr's Mill High School. With only three games remaining on their schedule, the Eagles are nearing yet another division title.

2. Western Mass Pioneers (Previous: 4)
Last Week: W 4-1 vs. AC Connecticut
The Pioneers are unbeaten in their last six games, and have won their previous four. Chris Roswess scored his third and fourth goals of the season in the 4-1 home win at Lusitano Stadium, while Daniel Fabian and Matthew Moore each added one to the convincing result. The Pioneers now sit atop the Northeast Division with a 6-1-3 record.

3. Reading United AC (Previous: 1)
Last Week: L 1-0 vs. Lehigh Valley United Sonic, W 4-3 vs. Ocean City Nor’easters
Reading United earned a dramatic win over the Nor’easters on Saturday, but fell for a second time this season before the weekend showdown. Paul Marie scored the crucial game-winner against the Nor’easters, while Rayane Boukemia, Hugo Delhommelle and Charlie Reymann scored the first three for the home side. Reading United still remains atop the Mid Atlantic Division standings with a 6-2-1 record, and the club has a game in hand on the Baltimore Bohemians, who are two points behind in second.

4. GPS Portland Phoenix (Previous: 3)
Last Week: W 4-1 vs. Long Island Rough Riders
Just like the Pioneers, the Phoenix continue to roll through the Northeast. The Phoenix are now unbeaten in five games, have a 6-2-1 record and sit two points behind the Pioneers with a game in hand. Four different goalscorers – Ifunanyachi Achara, Xhane Reid, Skyler Milne and Khesanio Hall – helped the Pioneers earn their victory at Deering High School on Sunday.

5. Carolina Dynamo (Previous: NR)
Last Week: W 2-0 at Tri-Cities Otters
After suffering a couple of losses in recent outings, the Dynamo bounced back on the road against the Otters on Saturday. Phillip Goodrum and Andreas Iosifidis scored the goals for the Dynamo at Science Hill Stadium, giving the North Carolina side a 6-3-1 record this regular season. As the Dynamo push for the South Atlantic title, three of the team’s four remaining games are at Macpherson Stadium.

6. SC United Bantams (Previous: NR)
Last Week: W 2-1 vs. West Virginia Chaos
The Bantams recovered from a defeat to the top-ranked Eagles in Week 7 with a hard-fought 2-1 result at Brookland-Cayce Stadium. The Bantams went down a goal early into the match, but Leandro Browne and James Millard scored to give the South Carolina side the victory. The Bantams sit in third in the South Atlantic with a 5-2-2 record.
