FC Tucson remains on top of the Western Conference Power Rankings after recording a 3-0 victory against OC Blues U23. However, the Fresno Fuego are closing in on the top spot.

The Fuego earned two wins on the road in Week 6 to move into the second spot in this week’s rankings. Three new faces in Lane United FC, Burlingame Dragons FC and San Diego Zest FC have entered the Top 6 after recording important wins.

Here’s the Western Conference’s Top 6:

1. FC Tucson (Previous: 1)
Last Week: W 3-0 vs. OC Blues U23
FC Tucson remains the only unbeaten team in the Western Conference after topping OC Blues U23 at Kino North Stadium on Sunday. Pedro Espindola, Afonso Pinheiro and Tate Schmitt were all on the score sheet in the team’s exceptional performance. Head Coach Rick Schantz will also be happy with defensive performance, as the team recorded its first shutout in five games.

2. Fresno Fuego (Previous: 3)
Last Week W 2-0 at BYU Cougars, W 3-1 BYU Cougars
The Fuego are riding the form of Christian Chaney, who scored his league-leading 11th goal of the season at BYU South Stadium on Saturday. Chaney scored two goals in as many games against the Cougars during Week 6, helping the Fuego earn their fifth and sixth consecutive win of the regular season.

3. Calgary Foothills FC (Previous: 2)
Last Week: W 3-1 vs. Victoria Highlanders FC, T 2-2 Victoria Highlanders FC
Foothills FC earned a solid four points against its Canadian rival during Week 6, defeating Highlanders FC, 3-1, on Friday before tying, 2-2, at Glenmore Athletic Park on Sunday. Mitchell Bauche scored once and assisted once over the course of both contests, while Elijah Adekugbe, Robert Hyams, Jonathan Wheeldon and Dominic Russo also found the back of the net. Foothills FC now sits comfortably in first in the Northwest Division with a game in hand on Lane United FC, which is in second.

4. Burlingame Dragons FC (Previous: NR)
Last Week: W 4-0 vs. San Francisco City FC
After playing its first six matches on the road, Dragons FC has earned back-to-back wins at home and will play five of its remaining six games at Burlingame High School. Daniel Musovski scored a hat trick in the club’s win over San Francisco City, but Dragons FC continues to be led by Jamael Cox, who assisted one goal. Cox now has four goals and three assists this campaign for Dragons FC.

5. Lane United FC (Previous: NR)
Last Week: W 3-1 vs. Sounders FC U23
Sitting in second place in the Northwest, Lane United slides into the fifth slot in this week’s edition of the rankings. Lane United, which has only lost one game through seven contests, grabbed an important result against Sounders U23 at the Willamalane Center. Matthew Coffey scored twice in the victory, while Stefan Tomasevic netted his second of the season in the game.

6. San Diego Zest FC (Previous: NR)
Last Week: W 4-1 vs. Southern California Seahorses, T 1-1 at San Francisco City FC
Zest FC was rewarded with a second place spot in the Southwest standings after earning four points in two days. After topping the Seahorses, 4-1, Zest FC traveled to Kezar Stadium and earned a point in a 1-1 tie with San Francisco City FC.
