Reading United AC is the Eastern Conference’s last remaining unbeaten side following Week 5 in the PDL, and its performances have earned it top billing in the first edition of the Eastern Conference Power Rankings.

Following close behind Reading United are two North Carolina teams who met for the last time this regular season over the weekend. The Carolina Dynamo defeated the Charlotte Eagles in the pair’s second meeting.

Here’s the Eastern Conference’s Top 6:

1. Reading United AC
Last Week: W 2-0 at Ocean City Nor’easters
No losses, 10 goals and 10 points; Reading United is off to a great start in the 2016 PDL regular season. Three of their wins have come on the road, and one of those was a 5-0 result against an Evergreen FC side that has shown signs of an excellent attack this campaign. Zachary Zandi scored a brace in Week 5, while Paul Marie and Brett Campbell have been instrumental in the team’s success.

2. Carolina Dynamo
Last Week: W 4-2 vs. Charlotte Eagles
A weekend win over their North Carolina rivals is enough to see the Dynamo take the second slot in this edition of the Eastern Conference Power Rankings. The Dynamo, led by Brandt Bronico, exacted revenge against a strong Eagles side this season. The Dynamo have only conceded three goals all campaign, with all three being scored by the Eagles.

3. Charlotte Eagles
Last Week: L 4-2 at Carolina Dynamo
The Eagles had been on a roll until they ran into the Dynamo on Saturday. The Eagles have scored 15 goals this PDL season, and Marco Micaletto, Clovell Dinnall and Tresor Mbuyu all have at least three. Saturday’s defeat at Macpherson Stadium is the first of the season for the Eagles, who will not meet the Dynamo again this regular season.

4. Baltimore Bohemians
Last Week: W 3-0 vs. Jersey Express
Currently sitting atop the Mid Atlantic Division, the Bohemians have amassed 11 points through six games, including a 2-1 victory against a talented New York Red Bulls U23 side on the road at the Red Bull Training Facility. While Charles Chapin scored two goals in the Bohemians’ recent win against Jersey Express, James Merriam leads the team with four goals scored.

5. Seacoast United Phantoms
Last Week: L 3-1 vs. FC Boston; W 1-0 vs. GPS Portland Phoenix
The Phantoms have experienced some ups and downs recently, but they sit atop the Northeast standings nevertheless. Terence Carter scored the important game-winner against GPS Portland Phoenix during the week before the Phantoms suffered a 3-1 home loss to FC Boston.

6. GPS Portland Phoenix
Last Week: W 4-0 at FC Boston; L 3-0 at Westchester Flames; L 1-0 Seacoast United Phantoms
The Phoenix had a busy Week 5, playing three games in a five-day span. The Phoenix have a 3-2 record, and the team has yet to play a home match. However, they'll get the chance to do just that on Saturday.
