Grenada to play Puerto Rico, Antigua and Barbuda in Caribbean Cup qualifiers

Kokomo Mantis FC's Alec Andall has received an invitation to represent Grenada in June qualifiers for the 2017 Caribbean Cup.

The defender will leave Mantis FC on Friday to join the Grenada national team as it prepares to play two qualifiers. Grenada will face Puerto Rico at Grenada National Stadium on June 1 before playing Antigua and Barbuda at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on June 7.

"I am elated that Alec is called back to represent his country," Mantis FC Head Coach Marcelo Santos said. "Alec is doing extremely well for us. His commitment and work ethic is second to none. He is a young man with a bright future."

Andall debuted for the Grenada national team against Trinidad and Tobago on March 19. He started and played 69 minutes in the nation's 2-2 tie.
