Vermont hosted all five of their playoff games; tickets for each match sold out in under a minute, including for the Final which had a total reported attendance of over 5,000.
“We’re honored to accept the 2025 USL League Two Organization of the Year award,” said Vermont Green FC Co-Founder Sam Glickman. “This is a recognition of the people that make this club run and uphold its values. We’re grateful for the dedication and passion of our sporting staff, interns, matchday staff, volunteers, fans, and everyone who contributed to this unforgettable championship-winning season.”
Annapolis Blues FC made a splash during its debut season, earning recognition as the 2025 New Organization of the Year. Annapolis kicked off the year with a raucous start, drawing 12,853 fans to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to set the USL League Two attendance record. The Blues continued to average over 8,700 fans in attendance per game as they fought in the highly competitive Chesapeake Division.
“We’re honored by this special award during our inaugural year in USL League Two,” said Annapolis Blues FC Owner & Managing Partner Michael “Hitch” Hitchcock. “League Two has so many dynamic soccer clubs doing amazing things to grow the game in communities all over America, so to be recognized as the Best New Organization by our peers is a true honor. This is the result of a lot of hard work by a committed ownership group, talented front office team, navy of ambitious interns, great coaches, local players who love their community, supportive local leaders, the best Naptown businesses as sponsors, and thousands of incredible fans and supporters.”
Lisa Dauterive led Des Moines Menace through another season as one of the standard-bearers in League Two, earning her nod as the 2025 Executive of the Year. Des Moines won the Heartland Division title for the second year in a row and pulled of a First Round upset in the 2025 U.S. Open Cup by defeating pro side Sporting Kansas City II.
“Winning the Executive of the Year award is an incredible honor! I want to thank the league and our peer clubs for recognizing the work our staff here in Des Moines accomplished this season,” said Des Moines Menace Operations Manager Lisa Dauterive. “This past season with the Des Moines Menace has been unforgettable – from our Open Cup campaign and the chance to work with a roster of legendary players, to the regular season and the memories made with the team both on the field and in the community. I’m very grateful for the support and dedication of our staff, players, and community who make this club so special.”
Tom Shields led FC Motown STA to its strongest campaign to date in League Two, earning him recognition as the 2025 Coach of the Year. Motown drew its first game and then rattled off 11 straight wins to finish with the best points per match in the league. The club also picked up its first ever playoff win in League Two, defeating the Western Mass Pioneers in the Round of 32.
“2025 was a summer of firsts for us as a program; one that filled us with immense pride and leaves so much to be excited for in the seasons to come,” said FC Motown STA Head Coach Tom Shields. “To win this award is an incredible testament to the efforts of so many, and while mine is the name it is awarded to, I have to of course thank: the technical staff, our operations team, the owners and my players, for without each of their efforts and investment over a long summer, none of this would be possible.”
