TAMPA, Fla. - As the regular season comes to a close, many players across League Two have stepped up their game in the final stretch. This list highlights players who have stood out on the pitch with rock-solid defense, composed midfield play, and lethal goal-scoring ability.

Rutkowski has stood tall for FC Motown STA throughout the year and has been a huge reason why it's the only remaining club in the Metropolitan Division to have given up less than 10 goals. Rutkowski and his defense have only built their chemistry as the season progressed, and the club is seeing the reward of that with the University of North Carolina keeper having recorded clean sheets in three straight games.

Kamrath started every game so far this season for Sarasota Paradise, who recently clinched the South Florida Division title for the second year in a row. The six-foot-four-inch center back had a monster June that saw less than one goal per match get past the Paradise defense. Kamrath himself had a 78% passing accuracy and scored one goal in June.

Endo has been a big part of Des Moines’ success this year, as a key piece in a deep roster. The Japanese national has recently averaged 70% passing accuracy while completing nearly 25 medium range passes per game.

Virginia Beach United steadily rose through the Cheasapeake Division this season and now have their playoff fate in their own hands heading into its final match. Campbell’s play has been a crucial part of the team’s success. The midfielder netted the game-tying goal and game-winning goal in important matches against Lionsbridge FC and Annapolis Blues FC.

Guzman was the anchor for the Glens this year. He’s known for his dynamic left foot that helps him create from his midfield position. Guzman has been a big part of the Glens’ offense and tallied four goal contributions in June.

Fernandez has been a consistent presence for SF City this year, who improved its 2024 points total by four this year. Fernandez came alive in June, which kept SF City in the playoff hunt until its final match of the season. His season was highlighted by an outside-the-box golazo against Marin FC Legends.

Kim’s play this season has been electric so far for an Asheville squad that’s firing on all cylinders. He scored at least one goal in each of the first six games of the season. Kim stands out on the pitch with his strength, composure, ball control, and constant goal-scoring threat.

Gyamfi tallied six goals this season, all in the month of June. He bagged a hattrick against Brevard SC and was an instrumental part of Sporting JAX winning seven of its final eight games to claim the division title.

Stainrod has been unstoppable this season, scoring 10 goals in 11 games so far. He bagged six goals in five games in June and will be a key piece of the Rough Riders' success as they gear up for a playoff run.

Six goals in June and eight assists on the season highlight an impressive campaign for Phillip. He followed that up with two consequential goals in July, helping Flint secure its spot in the playoffs.
