Club with 50-year history of player development adds League Two team

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. & TAMPA, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that Eagle FC will launch a USL League Two team kicking off in the 2026 season.

The club has successfully operated in the Central Pennsylvania area since 1976. Today, they host multiple travel teams which are home to over 1,500 players and have won numerous state, regional, and national titles. Eagle FC joined the USL W League during its inaugural season in 2022 and has since won the Mid Atlantic Division Title in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring Eagle FC into the men’s pathway of our pre-professional ranks,” said Joel Nash, USL SVP of Youth and Pre-Professional Properties. “They have a long-standing track record for success in player development that has made them irreplaceable in Central Pennslyvania’s sports culture. Their club has gotten off to a flying start in the W League and we are eager to see what they can do in League Two.”

The club passionately develops players, educates them in sport and life, and provides leadership through their core values of commitment, respect, leadership, fun and character. Eagle FC’s debut season in League Two coincides with the organization’s 50th anniversary.

“Eagle FC has maintained a long history of producing quality soccer players from the U6-U19 age groupings. We are very excited for the opportunity to join USL League Two for the men’s platform,” said Eagle FC Club President Christina Loss. “These accomplishments continue to show how growth within our club is progressing and we have built opportunities at all competitive levels within our pyramid.”

Eagle FC will be a member of the Mid Atlantic Division in USL League Two’s Eastern Conference.

“Eagle FC is excited to join the USL League Two and thankful for the acceptance beginning in the 2026 season,” said Brian Redding, Eagle FC Director of Coaching. “Our players, coaches, and leadership of the club are eagerly anticipating this new opportunity to compete in League Two’s competitive platform.”
