The Menace kept rolling this week, rattling off two wins on the road against Springfield FC and Santafe Wanderers. Des Moines will get 11 days off before making the trip to Peoria, where a win could put them on the verge of the Great Plains Division title.
2 Asheville City SC
(8-0-0)
Next match: @ Tennessee SC,
Tues 7/1, 7:30 p.m.

Last Week:
2
Asheville City SC has been one of the most impressive teams on both sides of the ball this season and last week it was their defense that shined. They secured a 1-0 victory over Dothan United to push away the competition for first place in the South Central Division. Asheville picked up their seventh shutout last night against East Atlanta FC. They’ll have a few days off to gear up for three straight away games.
3 Vermont Green FC
(7-0-2)
Next match: vs. NEFC,
Sat 6/28, 6:00 p.m.
1
Last Week:
4
Vermont Green FC has kept the good times rolling since their victory over Western Mass. A goal from Ask Ekeland on his debut helped Vermont to a home win over AC Connecticut. They played the reverse fixture three games later which ended as a scoreless draw. They’ll get a good test against NEFC who are scrapping to stay in the playoff hunt.
4 Laredo Heat SC
(8-1-0)
Next match: vs. Twin City Toucans,
Thurs 7/3, 8:00 p.m.
1
Last Week:
3
Laredo was flying high on the back of a 7-0 thrashing of Lonestar, who at the time were their closest competitors in the division standings. The Heat were brought back a bit closer to Earth with a 4-1 home loss to Corpus Christi this weekend. But they remain in pole position thanks to their eight wins to start the season, and now only need four points to lock up the Lone Star Division.
5 Ballard FC
(6-0-3)
Next match: @ Lane United FC,
Fri 6/27, 7:00 p.m.

Last Week:
5
West Seattle Junction FC held Ballard FC to their third straight draw, a rare stretch of results for the back-to-back defending Northwest Division champs. But, as they proclaimed on their X account, talk of a Ballard goal draught was exaggerated considering they scored 11 on Tacoma Stars. Another test will come on Friday against Lane United, who held them scoreless two weeks ago.
6 Virginia Beach United
(8-1-2)
Next match: @ Virginia Marauders FC,
Wed, 7/2 5:00 p.m.

Virginia Beach United is having a June to remember, scoring more than one goal in six of their seven matches this month. After a gutsy comeback win at Lionsbridge FC and controlling victory over Virginia Marauders FC, they have an eight-point cushion atop the Chesapeake Division and are gearing up to avenge their Round of 32 loss on penalties last year.
7 Charlotte Independence II
(7-1-0)
Next match:vs. Tobacco Road FC,
Wed 6/25, 7:00 p.m.
7
Last Week:
14
Charlotte continued their brilliant form this season with two wins in the last week, including a tightly contested 1-0 derby victory over the Charlotte Eagles. A busy week lies ahead for the Independence, headlined by a Saturday night trip to Salem City which will have major implications on who wins the South Atlantic Division this season.
8 Western Mass Pioneers
(6-1-2)
Next match: @ Seacoast United Phantoms,
Wed 6/25 7:00 p.m.
2
Last Week:
10
The Pioneers bounced back from a loss to Vermont with a 2-0 home win over the Boston Bolts. Four games lie between them and their season finale hosting The Green. But they can’t take their eye off the ball with NEFC and Black Rock FC lurking just a few points behind.
9 FC Motown STA
(6-0-1)
Next match: @ Morris Elite SC,
Wed 6/25, 7:30 p.m.
6
Last Week:
15
FC Motown STA has jumped out as the team to beat in the Metropolitan Division this year, which always packs a punch. They put together a complete effort to earn a 3-0 home victory over New Jersey rivals Cedar Stars Rush. Matches against Morris Elite SC and Ironbound SC on paper look like good opportunities to maintain their advantage over Long Island.
10 Sarasota Paradise
(6-1-1)
Next match: vs. Weston FC,
Sat 6/28, 7:30 p.m.

Sarasota has had a dream season so far and is in good shape to earn a playoff berth for the second season in a row. The Paradise completed the double over Fort Lauderdale United FC and grinded out another three points against Kings Hammer FC - Sun City thanks to Owen Barnett’s 90th minute winner. A home match against Weston FC is next before a crucial away match vs St. Petersburg FC next Wednesday.
11 Ventura County Fusion
(6-1-0)
Next match: @ Redlands FC,
Fri 6/27, 7:00 p.m.
8
Last Week:
19
Ventura County played a patient game Monday night against current Southwest Division leaders Capo FC, and earned a 2-0 victory, sealed by this 60-yard run by Donovan Sessoms. The Fusion’s toughest stretch of the season continues on Friday at Redlands FC, before traveling to FC Tucson next week.
12 Peoria City
(6-2-0)
Next match: vs. Santafe Wanderers,
Sat 6/28, 7:30 p.m.
1
Last Week:
13
Peoria City had a rough go their last two times out in League Two play, so a bounce-back win against an FC Ambush side who didn’t make life easy was exactly what they needed. The Carps final four games of the regular season are at home, including another pivotal matchup with the Des Moines Menace a week from today.
13 FC Tucson
(5-2-1)
Next match: vs. City SC,
Sat 6/28, 7:00 p.m.
7
Last Week:
6
After a roaring start to the season, the defending Western Conference champs fell off track, losing to Redlands FC and drawing with the Southern California Eagles on Monday night. They’ll look to get the offense revving again against City SC who’ve been staunch defensively this year before a pivotal two game stretch against Ventura County Fusion and Capo FC in July.
14 Little Rock Rangers
(5-1-1)
Next match:@ McKinney Chupacabras FC,
Wed 6/25, 7:30 p.m
3
Last Week:
11
Little Rock earned a draw against Louisiana Krewe FC thanks to a brace from Ethan Blake. While taking all three points at home would’ve been preferable, the Rangers are in a good position to make the playoffs for the third season in a row. After tonight, they have a week until their next game and will look to use that rest to prepare for their final push into the playoffs.
15 Fort Wayne FC
(7-1-1)
Next match: @ Kings Hammer FC – Columbus,
Wed 6/25, 7:00 p.m.
8
Last Week:
7
Fort Wayne picked up a significant win over Lexington SC one week ago, putting them in sole control of the Valley Division title race. But the good vibes slowed down over the weekend with a 2-0 loss to West Virginia United. A win over Kings Hammer FC – Columbus tonight puts them two points away from clinching the division.
16 San Juan FC
(8-2-1)
Next match: @ Patuxent Football Athletics,
Wed 6/25, 8:30 p.m.

Last Week:
16
After an 11-day rest, San Juan SC shook off the rust quickly, scoring five on Marin FC Legends en route to a victory. They drew 2-2 with Project 51O, which will feel more like a loss considering they led by two after five minutes. With just three games left, San Juan is feeling good about their seven-point lead in the Nor Cal division.
17 Salem City FC
(5-0-3)
Next match: vs. Charlotte Independence II,
Sat 6/28, 7:00 p.m.

Salem City FC are one of a few teams still yet to lose this season, and that is in large part thanks to a miraculous stoppage time comeback against the Charlotte Eagles. Up next is a home game against Charlotte Independence II, which has become a near must win for Salem’s chance at winning the division.
18 Northern Virginia
(5-0-3)
Next match: @ Patuxent Football Athletics,
Wed 6/25, 8:30 p.m.

Northern Virginia FC has picked up some big results on the road this season, including draws with Virginia Beach United and Lionsbridge FC and most recently a win against Annapolis Blues FC. Without a loss to their name, they have three games against the bottom three teams in the Chesapeake Division before going through a gauntlet to end the season.
19 Fort Lauderdale United FC
(7-2-1)
Next match: : @ Weston FC,
Wed 6/25 6:30 p.m.
11
Last Week:
8
A strong start to the season has kept Fort Lauderdale United FC atop the South Florida Division, but the momentum is headed in the wrong direction. Sarasota Paradise beat them for the second time this season, this time by a convincing scoreline of 3-0. A 1-1 draw against an FC Miami City squad who were down to 10 men for the final 25 minutes of the game shows how their offense is not firing at the same rate it was earlier in the campaign.
20 Lionsbridge FC
(5-1-3)
Next match: @ Charlottesville Blues,
Wed 6/25, 7:30 p.m
11
Last Week:
9
Lionsbridge FC has dropped points in their last two games since their statement victory over Annapolis Blues FC. Losing to local rival Virginia Beach United with a last-minute winner will feel like a gut punch. Three of their final five games are at home, and one away matchup against Northern Virginia FC may have a playoff spot on the line.
