Western Mass is coming off a tough road loss to rival Vermont Green FC. The Boston Bolts sit low in the Northeast Division, but are known to pull off a surprise result when least expected. This one will be a great primer for a busy weekend.
Ballard FC came out of the gate this year running but have hit their first stumbling block, drawing two matches in a row. They still lead the pack, thanks to a surprise Snohomish United tie, but will be eager to take all three points again. Their opponent, West Seattle Junction FC, will look to exploit Ballard’s subpar form as they push to turn their season around before it’s too late.
Vermont is feeling good, firmly in first place after their 2-0 win over Western Mass. The vibes are high in Burlington and Virtue Field will be excited for their Saturday night clash with AC Connecticut. The visitors have earned inconsistent results throughout the season so far, but a big upset could give them the push they need before playing four of their final five games this season at home.
A matchup between the two playoff teams from the Chesapeake Division in 2024, this one has a lot at stake. Lionsbridge FC has been the division front runner so far, but the competition is not letting up. Viriginia Beach United sits one point behind and will be licking their lips at the chance to leapfrog their local rival on the road.
Midwest United FC is closing out its season with six road games in a row and has gone 2-1-0 so far in that stretch. A trip to Oakland County FC, who is scrapping to stay in the playoff hunt, will create an energizing atmosphere. Both teams have exploded for goals on occasion, so an eye-catching scoreline may come from this one.
When these teams met in Bayou State, the Krewe surprised Little Rock, pulling off a 1-0 victory. Now when the teams meet in Arkansas, the Rangers will be ready to return the favor and give themselves a cushion atop the Mid South Division.
Both of these teams have put together strong campaigns through the first half of their inaugural seasons. Snohomish United is firmly in the race for Northwest Division lead, and three points would go a long way to keep the pressure on two-time reigning division champs, Ballard FC. The Bangers are a must follow on social media, and lately they’re backing up all the talk, putting together their first win streak in club history.
When in sync, FC Tucson has one of the best offenses in the league. That will be put to the test against Redlands FC, who haven’t allowed more than two goals in one game so far this season. The Southwest is yet another division with multiple teams in the race for playoff spots, so this one is a true six-pointer.
FC Motown STA has taken control of the Metropolitan Division, which brings something different each year. They’ll play two more games than the Long Island Rough Riders between now and next weekend, giving them the chance to put the heat on their closest competition. Cedar Stars Rush haven’t made the League Two playoffs since 2021 and need to break up their inconsistent form with a winning streak to end the drought in 2025.
