After a slow start, Black Rock FC rattled off three 1-0 wins in a row. For the back half of their toughest two game stretch this year, they will go away to face perennial playoff team, Western Mass. Both teams are tied for their respective spots in the table and three points tonight could be the difference come playoff time.
Flint City has kept a clean sheet in four of their six games. Northern Indiana has scored nine goals in their last four games. Both are chasing down Midwest United for the division lead. Who will come out on top?
There is nothing better than a true local derby, and this one in the Golden City is exciting. San Francisco City has won three of their last four games, while the Glens have drawn their last two. The two clubs come in level on points in what promises to be a Saturday evening thriller.
Two of the top teams in League Two face off this weekend in a must-see match. One season removed from an appearance in the national championship, Peoria City is enjoying another strong start to the season. Des Moines will welcome the Carps into their home stadium where they scored 10 goals their last time out. We expect fireworks from this one.
The Mid-South Division has four teams fully in the race for first place and two of them will go head-to-head this weekend. Little Rock is two years removed from a conference finals appearance and is filled with quality again this year. Led up front by Geraldo Neto, Hattiesburg look much improved from their debut campaign in 2024.
Laredo Heat SC has the most points of the three teams who’ve won all their games. The number three ranked team in the Power Rankings beat Houston FC last weekend 2-0 on the road. Houston has been a much better team on the road – taking seven points from three games – and will be eager to return the favor in Laredo.
Ballard FC has won the Northwest Division two years in a row, and this year looks ready to make it a three-peat. The competition has other things to say, and Lane United FC sees an opportunity to steal valuable points on the road. Led by Bautista Rossi Molinas, Lane United will keep Ballard’s star-quality defense on their toes in this one.
Rochester FC got off to a hot start, winning their first four games, and bounced back with a 3-2 win over St. Croix SC after their first loss of the season. Minneapolis City SC have been a well-oiled machine on offense scoring at least two goals in all but one game so far and currently sits third in the division. Can they get an upset on the road to remain in the playoff picture?
Northern Virginia has been just outside the playoffs for the last four years in League Two, but no losses through seven games in 2025 has them second in the Chesapeake Division. Annapolis is looking to earn their second win in a row after a home loss to top-dogs Lionsbridge FC, and a boisterous crowd at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium this Sunday could help push them to victory.
