Snohomish, Wa. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that a club based in Snohomish, WA will compete in the USL League Two beginning in 2025.

Snohomish Youth Soccer was established in the county in the 1970’s, and formed a premier team called Snohomish United in 1989. The club aims to encourage and inspire all players regardless of age and socioeconomic background to develop a love and passion for the sport, and to foster a safe and fulfilling learning environment that allows players to freely express themselves. The Snohomish United team develops players technically, tactically, socially, and psychologically in order to realize their highest potential.

“Snohomish Youth Soccer is extremely honored, privileged, and excited to join USL League Two and provide opportunities and a development pathway for players to advance to professional soccer,” said Anthony Sardon, Snohomish Youth Soccer’s Director of Coaching. “We aim to provide a fun, attractive, and competitive product with a gameday experience that best represents the city of Snohomish, Snohomish County, and northern Washington state in order to continue to grow the sport.”

The Snohomish club will be a member of the Northwest Division of USL League Two.

“Snohomish Youth soccer has a rich history in both grassroots and competitive youth development, and the club will only continue to provide these opportunities further by joining League Two,” said Joel Nash, SVP of Youth and Pre-Professional Properties. “This is an organization extremely involved in the community, inside and outside of soccer, and we could not be more excited to give them a platform that encourages further growth.”

The club will reveal its crest and name on December 4th, during a launch party at Haywire Brewing.
