TAMPA, Fla. - The United Soccer League announced today the winners of the postseason organizational awards for the 2024 League Two season.
The winners of the awards were determined by the league office, factoring in competitive achievement and operational excellence throughout the summer season.
Asheville City SC were selected by the USL as the 2024 Organization of the Year. The Blues amassed a dominant 10-0-2 record, going undefeated in the regular season and advancing to the National Semifinal against Seacoast United Phantoms.
The Southern Conference Champions were selected to host every playoff round for which they were eligible, and connected with fans in Asheville throughout the summer.
Almaden FC were awarded the New Organization of the Year award, given to the 2024 expansion club that excelled both on and off the pitch.
The club won the Nor Cal Division in its first season, going undefeated at home en route to an 8-2-4 overall record. Tom Brough's AFC is off to a strong start in League Two.
Peoria City's Bobby Parker has been awarded the 2024 Executive of the Year award, for his unwavering effort in making City a top club in only its third season in League Two.
The Carp advanced to the club's first-ever Conference Final, carrying the momentum all the way to the first Final in club history, which was held in Peoria. Parker's organization, integrity and determination played a leading role in Peoria's storybook season, and the continously growing relationship the club has with its fans.
