Flatirons Rush Annouces Key Partnership Ahead of the 2023 WPSL Season Kickoff

Flatirons Rush is proud to announce a partnership with Her Game Too USA. Her Game Too USA is a grassroots organization focused on eliminating sexism in football. Her Game Too originated in the United Kingdom and now boasts partnerships with prominent clubs all over the United Kingdom. Her Game Too USA was founded in May of 2021 and is run by volunteers, Whose goal is to “grow the campaign with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which women are welcomed and respected equally.” Jenn Ramczyk a Co-Founder, noted that, “We are excited to partner with clubs in the USA as we grow, raise awareness and move to make soccer a safe place for everyone." Flatirons Rush, a holistic youth soccer club in Colorado, with a professional pathway is focused on being supportive and inclusive to everyone. The club has already created partnerships with Freedom2Play, MyRevolution and continues to work on revolutionary advances in the sport of soccer, a strategic partnership with Her Game Too was the next step in supporting everyone in the club,

Joe Webb, President of Flatirons Rush, " I couldn't be prouder of the steps our club is taking to protect all of our athletes and make sure that the sport is inclusive to everyone. Sport is meant to bring communities together and this is a way for us to strengthen that bond in our own communities “The following is an excerpt from the new Flatirons Rush Safeguarding Policy, “The inequity in women’s soccer which has been perpetuated at the highest levels of sport means that the issue of safety needs to be addressed directly as it relates to our female athletes, coaches and staff.” Part of promoting equity and safety in sport, includes acknowledging and addressing the inequality in the sport of soccer as a whole that still exists.

The goal in partnering with Her Game Too is coming together to promote the common goal of making soccer a fun and safe environment for girls, women and everyone. This means educating everyone involved in the club and the community about the abuse and harassment that can occur at all levels of the game. We, as a club, are excited for Her Game Too to have a presence within the club and the community to facilitate face to face interactions and education and to make the game of soccer a safer place for all involved.

Flatirons Rush Kicks off its WPSL season this Thursday May 25th on the road against Indios. Home Game Season tickets are still available for only $49 at rushprodevelopement.com/tix
