USL League Two Highlights the Successes of New Path2Pro Clubs

2021 season saw the addition of two new League Two clubs in the Western Conference

TAMPA, Fla.- This year, USL League Two announced the addition of 24 new Path2Pro clubs, with two of those clubs joining the league’s Western Conference. With only a couple of weeks left until the start of a new year, the league reminisces on the accomplishments of the 2021 expansion teams both on and off the pitch.

2021 was a year marked by significant growth and opportunity for the Oregon-based club. OVF Alliance successfully launched its USL Academy side in October of 2020 and competed in its first USL Academy event this past fall at the USL Academy Cup. The club was able to field a U17 team at this year’s Academy Cup and continues to train player pools for the region’s top boys players at the U13, U15, U17 and U19 age groups with the objective of having OVF Alliance’s USL Academy sides represent the best 15 to 20 percent of players from the region.

PDX FC | Second Place Finish

PDX FC was on a mission to prove its strength during its inaugural season in USL League Two. The Oregon-based club, which competed in League Two’s Northwest Division, rounded out its season with just one loss on its record and a second place standing in the table. In addition, PDX FC notched 33 total goals this season, earning the club the title of top goal-scorers in the Western Conference.
