League Two announces players 11-20 on this year's final Top Prospects list

The Top Prospects list is built by our League Two scouting network and is based on regular season performances in the 2021 season. 

Top Prospects 1-10 will be announced on Tuesday, September 21.

Aaron Denk-Garcia

CM | Long Island Rough Riders

2021 Rough Riders Player of the Year, Denk-Garcia was the linchpin of a dominant Long Island defense this season. In his 990 minutes on the pitch, the Rough Riders captain helped his back line record eight clean sheets while only conceding seven goals in the 2021 regular season.

George Proctor

RB | Flint City Bucks

Proctor was a powerhouse defender for the Flint City Bucks, playing a total of 1,052 minutes in the 2021 season. In his time on the pitch, Proctor was able to contribute one assist to the Bucks and helped the team’s defense in conceding only nine goals.

Manel Busquets

RW | Des Moines Menace

The 2021 League Two Final MVP, Busquets scored the lone goal of the League Two Final helping his team to a title-winning season. In his 469 minutes of regular season play, Busquets managed to score two goals and contribute two assists to the Des Moines Menace.

Jansen Miller

CB | St. Louis Scott Gallagher

Xavier University sophomore, Miller was a key contributor to St. Louis Scott Gallagher’s defensive presence in the 2021 season. Miller recorded 549 minutes in eight matches and helped the team maintain two clean sheets leading St. Louis Scott Gallagher to a final regular season record of 6-4-2.

Diego Gutierrez

RW | Chicago FC United

Gutierrez was an all-around top contributor to Chicago FC United’s offensive presence in the 2021 season. The Path2Pro striker led the Chicago-based team with five assists and tied for the title of top goal-scorer with seven goals during the regular season.

Matt Myers

F | Ocean City Nor’easters

High Point University junior, Myers was a standout this season with the Ocean City Nor’easters, leading a dominant offense to an appearance in the 2021 League Two Playoffs. The Nor’easters forward managed to nail home two goals in the regular season while helping his team to a final season record of 9-2-3.

Jalen James

F | Mississippi Brilla FC

James was a main contributor to Mississippi Brilla’s offensive efforts this season, recording five goals and two assists in the 11 matches he was on the pitch during the regular season. James’ offensive finesse helped Mississippi to a regular season record of 8-2-3.

Noah Jensen

CM | Flint City Bucks

Jensen played in all 14 regular season matches for the Flint City Bucks this summer, recording a total of 872 minutes. In his time on the pitch, Jensen racked up two goals and four assists, helping his team to a regular season record of 9-3-2 and an appearance in the 2021 League Two Playoffs.

Nicolas Molina

F | West Virginia United

Top goal-scorer of the league in the 2021 season, Molina recorded 16 goals this summer, earning him the title of 2021 League Two MVP and Golden Boot winner. Molina’s most impressive performance of the year came when West Virginia faced Wake FC and saw the striker put away a whopping four goals in 82 minutes played.

Prince Amponsah

CB | Manhattan SC

The Bronx, New York native Amponsah showed out in the 2021 season, recording 636 minutes of play in eight matches. As a leading defender for Manhattan SC, Amponsah helped his defense record five clean sheets this summer while only conceding 14 goals, leading the team to a final regular season record of 7-4-3.
