The squad now has a two week rest period before playing its final match of the season against Tampa Bay United on July 10. With its only loss of the season being a 1-3 loss against Tampa Bay, the Villages are looking for one final revenge win to round out its season as they prepare for the playoffs.
5 Portland Timbers U23

The Portland Timbers U23 currently boast a 6-1-1 record with its only loss of the season coming at the hands of OVF Alliance in last Friday’s match. The team will get one more opportunity in its last four games to face OVF to prove they have what it takes to take home the Northwest Division title. As it stands, the Timbers U23 have the best shot at clinching the only playoff spot in the Northwest Division, however the team will need to keep its eyes on PDX FC as they are only a few points away from taking the first place position.

The Long Island Rough Riders are continuing their streak of being one of the toughest teams to face in the Metropolitan Division. The team experienced its first loss of the season on Saturday night when they fell short to FC Motown in a 0-1 loss. Although the match proved to be one of the biggest upsets of the week, the Rough Riders have still managed to only concede two goals all season, which is the lowest number in all of Path2Pro. With only four games left in its regular season, the Rough Riders will need to return to its usual winning streak to ensure they secure a spot in the 2021 League Two Playoffs.

North Carolina Fusion U23 joins a contingent of clubs in League Two who have secured a spot in the 2021 League Two Playoffs. This team has truly been a sight to see as they boast the most number of goals in the entire league with 36 goals to its name, seven of which can be attributed to Henrique Santos and six belonging to Mason Duval. The Fusion only have three games left in its regular season to break the 40 goal mark before going on to compete in the playoffs.

West Chester United SC currently sits at the top of the Mid Atlantic Division table with a record of 8-1-2. West Chester has been a consistent presence on the pitch this season having only lost one match this season to the Ocean City Nor’Easters and only allowing four goals all season. With only three games left to play in its regular season, West Chester looks to have a pretty clear shot at a playoff berth in the 2021 season.

As it stands, the top four teams all stand within a handful of points from one another with Manhattan SC currently tied in second with Cedar Stars Rush. However, if Manhattan can manage to beat Cedar Stars Rush in its Wednesday night match, the New York-based team may be able to start separating itself from the pack.

The team has been a solid contender for a playoff berth all season having only recorded one loss in 11 matches. With three matches left against opponents the team has already faced and beaten, the Pioneers are looking like they have a good shot at pursuing a run in the playoffs.
11 Mississippi Brilla FC

With a record of 8-1-3, Kalamazoo has separated itself from its competition in the division with a total of 27 points and six points separating them from the second place team Kings Hammer. At this point in the season, it is almost definite that Kalamazoo will be heading to the 2021 League Two Playoffs.

The Nor’Easters will have to focus on a game winning mentality if they want to finish out the rest of the season strong and earn a spot in the playoffs.
