FCB to live auction jerseys after final exhibition match in support of Hurley Breast Cancer Navigation Program

The Flint City Bucks will be in hot pink Capelli kits from head to toe for their final two weekend exhibition soccer matches at Kettering University’s historic Atwood Stadium.  The team will be supporting and raising dollars and awareness for (Flint’s) Hurley Medical Center’s Breast Cancer Navigation Program.

At the conclusion of the team’s final match on Sunday, September 27th, FCB lead broadcaster, Neal Ruhl will commence a Facebook Live event to auction off the player jerseys.  Mark your calendars for 2:15 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2020.  Visit the Flint City Bucks Facebook page to participate next weekend.  www.facebook.com/FlintCityBucks

All money raised stays local to support the Hurley Breast Cancer Navigation Program and Hurley patients going through the financially draining and life-disrupting process of cancer and treatment.  Auction participants will be making a huge impact on lives right here in Genesee County.

Jordan Brown, Director of Volunteer and Community Engagement at the Hurley Foundation stated, “We are so grateful for the attention the Flint City Bucks are bringing to breast cancer awareness month by playing in their pink jerseys for these two matches. It’s so important as a Flint institution to support the health of our community and that’s what makes this partnership so fun. I am thankful to the Bucks for supporting our Pink Night Palooza event and our Breast Cancer Navigation Fund.”

Match time is 12 pm (noon) today versus Detroit United FC.  Tune in to The CW46 across Mid Michigan to catch all the action.  If you are out of the viewing area, tune in via the Bucks website, Twitter page or YouTube page.
