Five To Shine: Andrew Gutman, Jordan Morris Among Weekend Standouts

A weekly look at five USL League Two players turned professional

With a number of professional leagues back in full swing in the United States, many former USL League Two players have returned to the field in 2019.

To highlight these tremendous talents, "Five To Shine" is here this week to shine a spotlight on five former League Two-ers that put in the work over the weekend with their pro club.

In the second installment of "Five To Shine," Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris, Charlotte Independence left back Andrew Gutman, LA Galaxy II goalkeeper Justin vom Steeg, Chris Pontius of LA Galaxy and New Mexico United's Santi Moar made the list after putting together great peformances over the weekend.

Moar notched a brace in his side's 3-3 draw against Phoenix Rising FC in USL Championship play, while Chris Pontius and Jordan Morris each made major contributions for the Sounders and LA Galaxy, respectively, in their team's MLS victories.

Meanwhile, former Indiana University and Chicago FC United defender Andrew Gutman scored a goal in his USL Championship debut for the Independence.
