Summary

1
LW: 1

Des Moines Menace

Record: 9-0-1
W, 2-1 at CHI
W, 5-0 at CHI
T, 1-1 vs. KV
6/29: vs. KV Finally, the Menace drop their first points of the season, but it took a three-match week - with two wins prior - for Kaw Valley to steal a point on the road. Even so, the Menace clearly reign as the top team in the Central Conference, on the cusp of clinching a playoff spot.
2
LW: 3

Dayton Dutch Lions

Record: 5-2-2
L, 0-2 vs.CIN 6/27: at DCR
6/30: vs. MIC
The victims of a significant upset, the Dayton Dutch Lions fell at home to their Cincinnati-based sister club. While definitely a set-back, they still control their destiny in the Great Lakes Division with a game-in-hand over Lansing United and a two-match week coming up.
3
LW: 4

Lansing United

Record: 4-1-5
L, 1-2 vs. MIC
T, 2-2 vs. WVC
6/29: at CIN An unsatisfactory one point out of six possible this past week leaves Lansing United on top of the division, but vulnerable to results from Dayton. Even after suffering their first loss, however, Lansing remains firmly planted in playoff position.
4
LW: 2

Chicago FC United

Record: 5-3-1
L, 1-2 vs. DMM
L, 0-5 vs. DMM
T, 0-0 at STL
6/28: vs. STL Chicago FC United finally earned a road draw away at St. Louis to snap a three-game skid, but had a tough-time at home twice against the Menace this past week, allowing the latter to essentially pull away as heavy favorites for the division crown.
5
LW: 5

Kaw Valley FC

Record: 4-4-2
T, 1-1 at DMM 6/26: at OKC
6/29: at DMM
In a hard-fought 1-1 draw on the road, Kaw Valley FC became the first team to claim points off the Menace in 2018. Still a cut below the Menace and Chicago FC United for the top two spots, Kaw Valley has their work cut out for them in coming weeks.
